Leeds photographer James West has been working with Interplay for the past 10 weeks, lending his skills and talents in photography and imaging to several of our projects and productions during that time.
James is a photography graduate of Harrogate College, since graduating he has worked on some prestigious projects including Live at Leeds, shooting bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan and capturing brands like Tanglewood. His variation of style and subject is really part of James skills and passion as a photographer, from illegal raves featuring masses of bodies in muddy fields to clean cut, almost magical looking bottles of liquor…James has covered it all.
His work specialises in a range of areas such as music based photography, documentary, portraits, fashion, live events and art photography. He takes on a range of promotional commissions and offers reduced prices to un-signed bands and other beginning creatives that require photos.
Clients include a large number of signed and unsigned bands, along with festivals, publications, venues and organizations from across the U.K, such as Powerplay magazine, Harrogate International Center, Limetree Festival, Damnation Festival, Death Fest, Purple Parallelogram Promotions and the RAF Photographic Section and currently is a contributing photographer for Vibrations magazine. James often works in all manner of places from fields and squats to royal halls and air fields.
